At midnight, two flowers bloom, one deep blue and one mysterious purple, said to announce the arrival of the bookshop librarian. And on moonlit nights, the Bookshop Cat can sometimes be found sitting quietly at the window, watching the garden as though he knows exactly what happens there.
The Bag
Midnight Garden is a one-of-a-kind, hand-crocheted Story Bag, created from richly textured yarn in deep navy, raspberry, plum, dusty blue and soft pink.
Four dimensional floral crochet squares form the front, each with its own little golden centre. The deep navy leather-look handles and antique-gold twist clasp add structure and an elegant vintage finish, while the delicate antique-style botanical charm completes the storybook feel.
Every stitch, flower and colour has been carefully brought together to create a bag that feels collected from another time.
